Oceania Tobacco Control 09 Conference
Tom Calma is the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Social Justice Commissioner and acting Race Discrimination Commissioner at the Human Rights & Equal Opportunity Commission (HREOC). Tom has been the leading campaigner in the 'Close the Gap' initiative and had a key role in getting COAG to sign off on it and the Prime Minister (and others) to sign off the 'Close the Gap' Statement of Intent. Indigenous Health Equality Summit
