Professor Kingsley Faulkner graduated in medicine from The University of Western Australia and has been Head of the Department of General Surgery at Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital and President of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.

He is on the academic staff of Notre Dame medical school and is Vice President of Cancer Council WA.

Vic Andrich is President of Environmental Health Australia (WA) and has been active in the environmental and public health arena for many years. Vic has been employed as an Environmental Health Officer with local government, Senior Policy Officer positions with state government and as a consultant in private industry. He brings a balanced approach that picks up government, business and community concerns in addressing tobacco control.

Trish Fowler is a Registered Nurse working at Princess Margaret Hospital for Children (PMH). She is President of the Australian Nursing Federation Industrial Union of Workers Perth (ANFIUWP) and the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (ANMF) WA Branch. She is a member of the Department of Health WA Human Research Ethics Committee; she is also a member of the Board of Hannah’s House.

Fiona is the Senior Policy and Research Coordinator of the Make Smoking History program, which aims to reduce the prevalence of smoking among adults in WA. The state wide program is jointly funded by Cancer Council WA, Healthway and the Department of Health, and is developed and implemented based on Australian and international evidence. It delivers the only tobacco control media advertising campaign in WA, and provides support to those working in health, local government, and community sector agencies. It is also currently working closely to support social and community services in WA to address smoking among priority groups.
