Big Tobacco is at it again with new corrupt lows. Philip Morris have been caught misleading consumers about the nicotine content of their Iqos heated tobacco products. New research by the Bureau of Investigative Journalism found the devices contained eight times more nicotine than claimed by Philip Morris.
While the company has been spruiking their new addictive devices as “better” alternatives to cigarettes, they were forced to concede the devices were just as addictive as cigarettes. However, they still continue deliberately misleading consumers for their own gain.
