The Quitline Aboriginal Liaison Team (QALT), ACOSH and key WA Aboriginal Medical Services are implementing a ‘2017 World No Tobacco Day Artwork Competition’. The theme of the competition is ‘Second hand smoke is harmful’. Aboriginal Youth from local schools or community groups will be encouraged by their local Tackling Indigenous or Footprints to Better Health Workers to design an artwork that tells the community about the harms of second hand smoke.
The winning artwork for each region will be judge by the local AMS and the artist will receive a $100 electronic voucher and $200 worth of art supplies for their school or community group. The winner from each region will go into the draw to be the overall Western Australia winner. The overall State winner will received a $500 electronics voucher! The regional winners will be announced on 15 May and the State winner on World No Tobacco Day (31 May).
